Almost better than the musical! Join me on my adventure exploring through the chaotic world of cats! For instance did you know that having a cat can make a person less adverse to taking risks?! Some cats carry a parasite called Toxoplasma gondii that when introduced to humans can cause them to take more risks than uninfected people. Weird right? And that’s only one of the symptoms they were able to quantify with data, it could be possible that toxoplasmosis may bring on a whole slew of cat-centered behaviors that one wouldn’t normally do before infection, almost boarding on brainwashing…spooky! But nonetheless, whether I’m brainwashed into it or just by nature, I love cats so join me in this episode where I explore that fascination!

*intro* I recently found a kitten in and subsequently, the kitty cat mind control has fully set in, and thusly, cats are the only thing that's on my mind lately. Like, what is she.. Did you finally figured out what water is? That's good.. Should I restart? I don't know. That's how I feel lately with this fucking cat. Dude. U. Yeah, man, this cat is fucking taken over my life, bro. Oh, my goodness. I was gonna restart and then she she just came and sat, like, started pawing at me that saw I'd pick her up, and then she came and sat next to me and she sneak sneezed and farted at the same time. And I think that. I think this entire podcast, I think that is an analogy for it right there. It's just going to be like a snart, a sneeze and a fart. I was like, oh, God, that's so sneaky. That's the entire, like.. experience of having a cat. It made me realize, like, yo, dude, I need to like, iron my stomach before I get a cat. Dude, she pooped on the floor the other day and I had to like evuumuate the room. Ugh Oh, my God, I had to, like, hold my breath, go in there with like incense. I was gagging. It was bad. Not good. I don't like bad smells, dude. bad smells can make me gag so fast. That was why I liked the masks so much, not because like anonymity or anything like that was because you could mask the bad smells that are always around you. But when you have a cat, you can't really mask the bad smells. I mean, like, you literally have to have a litter box for them to poop in inside your house. It's like the weirdest thing ever. You just have to be really on top of keeping that litter box clean. But the weird thing I didn't know about cats is that they like instinctually know to use the litter box. Like, it's like part of their instincts to want to bury their waist so they don't get followed by predators. But I knew that, but I didn't know that it started, like, as a kitten. Like, I found this kitten as a kitten. I found her outside. And then I, the way I found her was she was outside outside meowing all night long, and I heard her once earlier in the night and I was like, huh, that sounds like a little baby kitty, I hope it's all right. But there's lots of cats in the neighborhood, so I kind of dismissed it. But then, a few hours later, I still heard like what sounded like the same yowing, so I went and I walked up to the window and I just kind of stood there for a few minutes and I was like, yeah, that's definitely a baby cat. And I called my mom over and I was like, you hear that? That's And then we both agreed, yep, sounds like a baby kitten. Oh, hello. Where did you just. She comes jumping out of nowhere. So then we know you know we're talking about you. We went outside looking for her, and I went outside with a big, bright flashlight, but we couldn't find her. And every time we got close, she'd stop meowing. But then she kept meowing like all night long, so much so that like other people in the neighborhood did the same thing that we did, started going outside looking for her. Like, where is that coming from? Because it was like a distress meow. And then early in the morning, my mom woke me up. I fell asleep watching Egypt documentaries, and my mom came and woke me up. She was like, I found her. She's outside, under somebody's wheel well, and I can't get her. She's under a truck and I can't get her. And I was like, huh? She didn't know it was a her then. She was like, can't get the cat. And I just woke up and I was like, what is happening? And I sauntered outside all sleepy-like. And I assessed the situation. I got a piece of paper. I was like, hey, just in case we can't get the cat, let's go. Worst case scenario. Let's try and write a note and leave it. So I wrote the the note while my mom tried to get the cat and somebody else like came out with like some milk, and I guess somebody else came by earlier with some cat food to try and help coax the cat out.. But they couldn't get the cat. The cat wouldn't come to them. So I left the note, I wrote, "Hey, you got a cat and your right rear well. rear wheel, well. Wow, what a tongue twister that was. And then everybody else kind of like backed off from the car and I was like, well, you know what? Let me let me try it out a little bit. So then I tried to crawl underneath the car at first, because I figured that would give me the best, you know, advantage to grab her from a direction that she wasn't expecting. And I went under this car, but I wouldn't fit, but I could reach my arm up and kind of like tap where she almost was, and I think that kind of gave her the idea of like, oh, this guy's coming for me. Any means necessary. And then I came back around to the wheel well, and I grabbed a little handful of cat food, and I stuck my hand under, and she almost immediately came up to start sniffing, but I was too quick, too. I was too fast on the draw, and she got a little scared, and she wasn't close enough for me to really grab her. So then she backed up. So then then I went and I grabbed some more food and I waited, and it was a weird kind of like energy thing. I knew I had to do an energy thing. I even in my head to myself said, oh, I know what I did and I know what I have to do. Because before I kind of like, you know, jumped too soon, I jumped the gun and literally released my energy too soon by pouncing too quickly, but also I released like the energy of intention that, hey, I'm going to grab you too quickly. And I thought in my head, you got to hold that intention of, I'm gonna grab you back. You got to put out the intention of this is safe, you know, come right here. And she literally walked right up to me and rubbed her side on me, like, grab me, please grab me." And I was like, bet, drop the food, scooped her right up. She was the size enough to like fit in my hand. And it's crazy how fast kittens grow up, dude. She's like doubled in size now. I'm like, oh no, where did my baby go? My little baby. She's growing up so fast. Is this how parents feel? No. But yeah, yeah, it took her inside. And since I was watching Egypt documentaries, I figured the best name would be Cleopatra, because that was the one I fell asleep watching. But then I was sitting there and pulling there in my hands and another one came on about Nefertiti. And I liked Nefertiti for a little kitty, so I decided that her full name would be Cleopatra Nefertiti, the Little Ki. But ever since I got her, I've been doing lots of Googling about cats and I figured it would be fun to go home over some of the more strange facts that I found out. Speaking of energy, people really do believe that cats can sense energy, and on one hand, it's because there're great predators. They have a great senses, and their senses are very finely tuned to be able to catch prey. So they're very patient, and they kind of have that, like, I don't know, edge to them. But in like a metaphysical sense, that edge can kind of come from being able to interpret any energies and they say that cats can like see things that people can't see. They say the same thing about dogs, but they say more so cats are like the in between animal where they're in between our world and another world. And that's why, like, sometimes they'll just randomly start chasing random shit around your house. What they don't tell you is that cats are probably just 80DD and they're chasing a piece of dust that they saw. They have really good visions, and they will chase things like dust and stuff like that. But what people don't know is that they see differently than us. They have a different wavelengths of light they can see. I think it's broader than ours so they can actually see when you're using your remote and stuff like that the infrared light that comes off of it. And that's why sometimes your cat will attack your remote, if you're using it, especially if you're using an older remote, because over time, the infrared LED starts to wear out a little bit and it red shifts a little bit more into a visible spectrum that's something like a cat could see. And if you've ever had an iPhone with the face ID, you'll actually notice that you can see it blasting out infrared light sometimes. You'll see it kind of red shifting. And that's because of the, on one hand, the manufacturing difficulty of making infrared LEDs without, you know, such a small array, without having it red shift at all, is very difficult, but but on another hand, it's like some people's eyes are more sensitive to infrared, just like cats. That's what I'm saying. Like, man, maybe people have that edge too, that kind of energy thing. It's not just a a cat thing. It's something that all people have. And then I come to find out, I did a little bit more Googling. Humans actually share 90 up, I think it's like 90 or 902% of their DNA with cats. That's crazy. Dogs are like 84%. It's like, I always felt more connected to cats. I didn't know that. that was why I felt more connected to cats. It's like literally like a genetic thing. Like we're more genetically in line with each other than a dog would. And that.. It's really funny, too. Like, when I grab this cat, something something in me, like, um, like, changed. I was like, yeah, this is my cat now. This is gonna be my cat. And I even like, coincidentally, I have a doctor's appointment coming up, so I'm even gonna get her like a service animal certificate. So it's like,, yeah, this is my cat and you can't do anything about it. I had a dog a while ago and they were like, yeah, you can't have a dog. I guess like they were getting complaints or whatever. It wasn't about my dog they were getting complaints, I guess like general dog complaints. from what I hear. I don't know. Maintenance guy was like, you can't have a dog.. And I didn't want to be like, you know, a dick about it. Because especially I was keeping in contact with the people that I got the dog from, and they were like, oh, you just, like, this family, like, just missed out because you got the dog. And I felt kind of like, oh, dude, I feel a little guilty right here because on one hand, I'm being told you can't have a dog. And on the other hand, I'm being told, yeah, somebody else would have probably enjoyed this dog a lot more, like in a family setting with like, you know, a house with kids in it and stuff like that and that. The dog didn't like it around here. That's the real huge difference that I'm noticing is the dog wasn't from around here. So when I brought the dog here, she wasn't used to the, you know, the fireworks all the time and the airplanes and the loud cars. She would freak out at all of it because she was from like a quiet, you know, a quieter part of the state. and I felt really bad for her. So I was like, dude, the best thing to do would be to give this dog back and let her go live with another family where she would be happier. And even though that was the best thing to do, oh, dude, that like, high key sent me to the dark side. Like, hardcore. I was like, oh, dude, I hate and all I am is hate and all I fucking will ever be is hate. Nothing in this world is worth worlding anymore. I got mad depressed after I lost that dog. I was upset as fuck. And I think the universe saw like, you know, my willingness to like have something that I love and then give it away for a better reason. But then I don't think the universe was like ready to see me just completely. sit that shit, completely villain mode. I just like, I didn't care anymore. Just like my. I don't know, dude, just. That's, why this cat feels like a gift from the universe, because it's like this cat came from here, so she's used to the environment and actually she's like from the streets. So she's like thankful to be inside. I opened up the door the other day and I left it open and she just stayed inside, dude. She wants nothing to do with the outside world anymore. Like, this is her home. She has chosen me as her home too. And it feels like really, like, I don't know, magical. It feels awesome. It feels fucking sick that this cat, like chose me and I chose the cat at the same time. That's always what I wanted out of a pet was like that I want the pet to choose me and I choose a pet. And this is like exactly what happened. It was like, I got to like, reach my hand out and the pet reached back to me. That makes me go into like, everybody's like, oh, dude, you got blessed by the cat cat distribution system. And I always like heard this in passing, but never really looked into it, so I Googled it. And I guess the cat distribution system is like a theory that originatedated on TikTok or Reddit or whatever, that the universe will just grant cats or kittens to people that it deems as a good person. And I thought that made me feel really good about myself, especially, like, where the cat, like chose me, like, I don't know, the entire situation really made me feel really good about myself. Like, oh, yeah, this is my confirmation from the universe that I'm on the right path. What I didn't know either, though, that it was like, the beginning of another path. Like, like, oh, dude, you closed out one chapter. Here it's not the end of the book, though. Here's your next chapter. And I feel like I'm being faced with like so many like, you know when you go into a new grade and they test you on the stuff that you might remember from the year before? I feel like I just speed ran sped ran Sped ran past tense. I feel like I just spud run. a few lessons that I kind of started stumbled on before. Like, getting this cat when I first got her, she made me feel this heavy, like, sense of peace. It was very strange. The only other time I felt this sense of peace was I found these crystals on the beach during the eclipse, and for some reason, they were barrite crystals. And if you want to Google it and stuff like that, B- R Y T E, they're known for promoting a sense of peace in almost like a trance-like state. And I didn't know that. And I was holding them and I was like, dude, why do I feel like I'm in a trance right now? And then I Googled it and I was like, dude, that is, that is insane. Um, and another cool thing about those stones was like, I got the feeling like, dude, put them under UV light and I put them under UV light and they glue under the UV light. And I was like, wow, that's so cool. But then I turned the light off and they stayed gloing. Dude, these were the coolest stones to ever find. And now I'm finding like the coolest kitty in the entire world. She has this little, you know, the little feather on a stone with a little bell. She's got all the cute little catries. I feel bad about using the laser pointer. They say, like, don't use it too much because it can frustrate them, and I can totally understand because she wants to, like, pounce on it, but it's not real. So then she gets a little frustrated. So what I started doing was I'll aim it onto a toy so then she can get to attack the toy and kind of get it out that way. And as soon she gets to the toy, I turn it off. So I kind of make her think it's a function of a toy. But I'm also thinking to a degree, maybe I will want to make like a ping pong ball with a red LED on the inside or something as a kind of like secondary to the laser pointer so she can still have that tactile function and doesn't get upset. I don't know, I'm thinking about this. cat thing real deeply, which shows you that, like, oh, yeah, maybe a cat was the better thing for me. Especially a little baby kitten. She was so tiny. I still, I said it before. I can't believe how quickly she's growing. They grow so fast. I wasn't like sure that I'd be able to see it like right before my eyes, but I'm seeing it right before my eyes. She's so giant already. Yeah. Crazy, crazy, crazy. Yeah, the cat distribution system must be a functionality of the universe, some kind of function of the simulation that grants you a cat. The funny thing is that the night before, when we first went out looking, there's this neighborhood cat, Smokey, that I always, I'll spend a lot of time, like hanging out with him and petting him and stuff. because I just I enjoy cats. I enjoy animals on a whole. I enjoy critters, critters and c creatures are my best friends. But she's messing around. It's adorable. I saw him when I went outside, and I was like, "Hey, can you help me find this kitty so I can bring her home?" Or bring the kitty home. I didn't know it was hurt. Once again, as soon as I figured out it was a her, every time I want to refer to the kitty, I want to call her a her, but before I found out, it was a her, I did not know that said kitty was a her. So I said to Mr. Smokey Man, the kitty, hey, will you help me bring this cat home? And then the next morning we find the cat. Awesome. But the next morning, I saw him while I was bringing the cat in and he kind of looked like betrayed a little bit because I never like let him in and he was like, dude, you're letting this little cat in. You're carrying this guy inside your house. What about me? And then later on, so like a month ago, I was like, hey, bring me home a mouse. Like I never see you catching mice and stuff like that. So then later on in the day, it was really funny. I saw him again with a mouse in his mouth and I was like, oh, dude, he's probably mad at me. He looked kind of peeved at me the first couple times I saw him, but when I went outside and I, like pet him again, first of all, I realized how giant he is. Like, I forget, like, oh my God, kittens are so tiny. And like, I thought that, like, he was a tiny little kittitty and I was like, oh, what a little kitty. And I thought he was little and small, but now I'm looking at this tiny kitty all the time. And the first time I saw Smokey again, I was like, oh, dude, this is a giant cat. What the fuck? My cat's going to grow into this? That's crazy. But yeah, the first time I saw him again, I pet him and he kind of realized, like, oh, yeah, this dude, he's just a loving creature. It's it's not going to run out. He's still going to like make time to pet me and stuff like that. Smokey's cool. He's the little like neighborhood cat. Like everybody in the neighborhood knows him and he'll like walk up to people to be pet. He's very gregarious. And I think that's 'c another thing that I Googled, male cats are more gregarious, they're more outgoing, and they're more social than female cats. Female cats are the ones that tend to be where you get the word catty from. They're a little standoffish, but this little muffin's, like, imprinted on me. She like, slept on my neck the first few nights that I found her, like I was like her she keeps trying to like nibble on me too. It's adorable. Oh my God, though. So she was sleeping on my neck the first few nights that I found her, and I think it was like the second morning I woke up, and she was laying on my neck and I was just so peaceful, and I was drifting in and out of sleep. And I was like, ohh, this cat is so warm and cuddly.. Oh, my. Oh, oh, oh, this cat's wet. And why are they so wet? I freaked out. And I was like, oh, my God. And I braced her to my chest and I sat up so the piss wouldn't dribble on my pillow. And I like ran and I took my shirt off and I drive myself off. And I didn't freak out because she's just a little kitt and she's just a little kitty. But it was just so funny. Like, oh my God. When we first got her too, like my mom was like like brushing her or something or she just picked her up and she started peeing all over her. I think she's, like, marking her territory in a way. But, um besides peeing on us, she's actually been pretty good about it. Like I said, cats, like, I was blown away. Cats know what litter boxes are, like, instinctually, and they will want to use them. And Loki, I think maybe this cat might have been like part of a litter or something that somebody like, couldn't take care of or couldn't get rid of and kind of let go, because a few weeks ago I saw one little pancake kitten on the speed bump outside of my house And I was so distraght. I started crying in the car, and I was like, God, please, that's so sad Let that little cat into heaven And then I pulled down the street and then I took a turn and I saw another one and I was like, dude, what the fuck, God? If there are any more, please, I will take it. Like I that will be mine. I will have that one. Please don't do this anymore. Like, I get it. Like, what are you doing? Like, I don't get it, actually. Like, what's going on? here? And then to find a kitten, like a couple weeks later, like, one, oh, what an answer to my prayers. And two, oh shit, that was probably a pack or something. you know, if I did want to make myself feel bad, I could be like, oh, man, if I was only just a little bit quicker, which I I already, I said that to myself already and I was already like, that's silly because then, you know, things happen. The universe happens in ways and I just have to be glad now that I am here to take care of this kitten and show her all the love that she could ever endure. I love giving her kiss attacks. I'll just start kissing her all over, and she's actually like, come. I've done it so much she's come to expect it. And she actually kind of enjoys it. Sometimes I'll, I'll do a little kissy face and she'll come up to me and then she wants the kisses and then sometimes she doesn't want the kisses and I'll do the kissy face when she walks away. And then I grab her and I give her the kisses anyways because there's no escape in my kisses. Oh, she knows I'm talking about the kisses and she's coming running hello. You want some kisses? No, she's backing up. because she knows, she knows she's going to get a kissy attack. She knows she's going to get sc scooped if she comes near me. I don't always scoop her, but when she's looking adorable and trotting across the room, it's so cute how tiny she is, like, she has to, like, take a full gallop, just to ooh, get across the room. She loves attacking my toes to sum up on my toes. She likes biting. Weird thing about this is, too, like, something, like, really clicked inside of my brain. I don't know. but, like, um.. Whenever she bites me or like, scratches me or attacks me, it doesn't hurt. In fact, it feels a little bit good. not to sound masochistic, but it feels like a good stretch, if you know what I mean. Like, when you stretch, like a, oh, that feeling that comes with a good stretch. Yeah, when she's scratching up and biting my little toes, that's what it feels like. It still, like, hurts, but it feels more of a good kind of hurt than a bad kind of hurt. And I wonder if that's, like toxoplasmosa rewriting my brain. I don't know. I've had cats in my entire life, and it's always been the same kind of thing. I think it's maybe I can sense like, there's no malice in her attacking me. It just is her nature as a hunter, as an attacker. She just. There is no malice in it, so it doesn't hurt, but she's made of knives. She's a little ball of fur and knives. She can't help it. I think that's kind of like, you know, a good analogy for people sometimes, you know. Sometimes people can't help but hurt you. It's just human nature to just be, you know, a wrecking ball. That's why that lady wrote a song about being a wrecking ball. 'Cause we all feel like a wrecking ball at times. Maybe I should have named Miss Kitty Wrecking Ball. I'm thinking about naming her Benadryl, dude. She, like something happened, like, her aura is like, mad strong and like completely overpowered mine. And like, maybe I just like sleep so much in her aura of like, sleepiness. Like, I was so agreeing with it that I needed to agree with it so much until it became like a problem. Like this cat like feels like Benadryl sometimes. And I don't know if that's like me. like, not accepting peace or maybe not having felt a real level of comfort in so long that now as soon as I feel it, I'm a little bit uncomfortable.able. So then I kind of feel the need to buck it a little bit. Or maybe if it really is just like,Yo, this is that kitten's, like, energy that that that kitten's putting off because kittens need to sleep 22 hours a day. And I need to kind of like separate my energy from a kitten's energy and kind of learn how to get my things done. Like even the other day, like, I had some stuff to do and I had to leave her in the room by herself while I got stuff done because she likes biting the laptop and she likes and swatting. the phone out of my hand. If I'm ever on my phone for a little bit longer and she if I'm on my phone at all, she just immediately comes up and starts swatting at it. That's what I'm saying. Like, this feels like a secondary stage in my, like, kind of like training a little bit. feels like a new chapter just opened up where now I'm learning how to like separate my energy from other people's energy and like outside influences and like, what are my true intentions? You know, what are my intentions and what are the kittens' intentions? Am I what I started doing too, is like whenever I'm hungry, I'll try to feed her because I figure that's when she's hungry. But you got to feed a kitten like, I don't know, at least three times a day. So it's actually been pretty good for me keeping on a three time a day schedule, because I normally eat one time a day. So, like having just having that thing that I have to take care of, that sense of responsibility in a way has been keeping me on a schedule and on track and things like that. And I feel it kind of like fulfilled in my daily life. It's so weird that like just taking care of this kid kitten can feel so fulfilling. But I'm a little bit afraid of that feeling of fulfillment because with fulfillment comes contentment and right now I'm so content with just playing with this little kitty that I don't I don't care about. You know, all this other stuff feels like a distraction. You know, on the phone, please swat it out of my hands. I don't want it. I'll rather spend my energy with you. And even right now, like, because I'm ignoring her, she's getting into a little bit more troubled than usual, and I'm trying to ignore her so I can do the podcast, but she keeps, you know, swatting at the Christmas lights. And that's fine. I'll just.. come here. You want attention? try to distract her. But that's it's like low key, like, having a kid a little bit. Probably not as bad. I even said to my mom, like, like, I was so tired, like, from taking care of her and stuff. I was like, man, is this what it's going to feel like when I have kids? She was like, man, this but worse." And I was like, ooh,f. I can't wait. I'm so excited. But, yeah, it's like learning how to prioritize things and learning like how to dispense my energy and what energy is necessary. It's also cool because, you know, I'm so sensitive, she's so. sensitive. If there's something that we both react at, it's my immediate, like, I know it's real. you know, kind of like, my confirmation. She's like, my little confirmation all around, all over the place. Not only was finding her confirmation, but daily, like, she's helping me confirm things in my life, like, every now and then. Especially, like, when you can feel like the vibes are off and then you and the cat both start acting a little bit differently, it's like, oh, that's so crazy. But cats, like I said, are natural hunters. They'll fight vibes. So they'll get into their little, like, when there's a vibe that, like kind of riles them up, they'll, get into their little zoomy mode and start running around and they'll get super energetic and stuff like that. And they'll go into attack mode, because that's just like part of their instincts. Their instincts are so strong. It's like, uh, it's they're so strong and they're so from what it seems like on the outside, sophisticated, they're it's a little bit mind blowing to look at a kitten and realize all of the life going on inside of it. It is like, as soon as I grabbed her and I looked into her little eyes, I was like, dude, this is like a whole person in my hands right now. I'm like, she can only say meow, but she like uses that meow, you know, not only to help her get saved from the street, you know, under the car, we are, well, but also, like whenever I come home, she's like, hello, where are you? Whenever she wakes up and I'm not there, she meows like, where are you? And I come and I I'm like, hello, I'm right here wheneverever she wants reassurance. Sometimes she'll just wake up and meow just to make sure that I'm still there. And then I'll meow back. Like we have our little conversations. And she's been sneezing a lot, I think, because she was outside and I'm hoping that she gets better. But we're going to bring her to the vet soon. We're waiting a couple weeks, but every time she sneezes, I'll say, bless you. And the other day, I sneezed and she went, I went, oh, my God. You just said, bless you. I think I'm low key training her to like, whenever somebody makes that noise, there needs to be a response. So then there was no response, so she made the response. of grandma, bless you. She's adorable. She is my favorite. And that's that's, I just said it a second ago. It's like, oh, dude, I kind of, that false sense of fulfillment, not a false sense of fulfillment, but like fulfillment and contentment. Like, I'm so content with what's going on right now that it's breaching into, like, do I fulf fulfilled? And it's making me, like, you know, I want to take a break and stuff like that. I've been so, like, sleepy and like, I don't want to do that. I just want to play with my kitten. I don't want to be on the phone. I just want to play with my kitten. I don't even want to watch TV sometimes. I just want to play with my kitten. Sometimes I just turn off the TV and just sit here and play with her. And it's like the best entertainment ever. It's crazy. I forgot how entertaining a pet could be, you know, Especially a cat. Like, I grew up with cats. I just love cats, dude. Cats are... little magical creatures. Yeah, aren't you? Aren't you a little magical creature from the forest? Yeah. I'm checking over my notes now. One of my notes was so sleepy, so, so, so, so sleepy. Why so e e so sleepy? Why having a kitten making me so ey? Yeah.. Some of these notes I wrote were very i, I guess. Oh, yeah, I feel kind of disarmed. Yeah, yeah. So, like, um that goes into the contentment thing where I feel like. I kind of have to draw. And the kind of energy thing where I kind of feel like I have to drop my guard a little bit and I kind of have to relax because, you know, it's a kick and and she consents energy and stuff like that. But I feel like at a point, like, um, is that good? Is that bad? You know, every time I've dropped my guard before, people have noticed, you know, and I've noticed, too, this little kitty can tell when I drop my guard, because the second I drop my guard, that's the second she like comes in and like runs in and attacks me. And that's like my confirmation of like, oh, yeah, dude, that my guard, what I'm calling is my guard is definitely like some kind of auric energy that I'm putting out. And whenever I drop it or I spike it or whatever, um, people and animals and things reactording. That's why I'm saying, like, also, I think I said a second ago, like, more training. She's helping me kind of fine tune how not only much energy I use, but like the kinds I use and how they correlate with intentions, especially with cats, you can't say anything, really. Like, they understand you, but, like, you're not gonna have, like a I'm not going to reason what the cat, what a laser pointer is when she's feeling frustrated with the laser pointer. Like, I can try and show her, but I can't like, like I can try. I don't know, I can't make her like do it and like understand. like I have to notice, okay, she's getting irritated and I have to use my observational skills and be like, okay, that's enough laser pointer time and then shine it on another toy so she gets distracted with it. And she's actually smart enough, too, where if she starts getting pissed off at the laser, she actually, she now does that. She'll just go to another toy. And then I get the hint and I'm like, okay, laser time is over. It's crazy, the kind of communication that you can have when you're just being observational. And that's all cats are. They're so observational, maybe that it breaches on the territory of like, oh, that seems extra sensory, but it's just they're observing things. And that's probably why people say that they're magical because they'll notice things before you ever get the chance to. And going back to the geneticsetics thing, I had notes, I guess I reached them. I was Googling it when I found out that Kat's share 90% of their DNA, and I found an article that saidCats will take on the DNA of their owner. And I don't know if they're meaning like that it will just be suspended in their fur or if like the cat will start producing the DNA in some way, shape, or form. but they swabbed the side of 20 cats and then it tested positive for the DNA of their owners. So then they realize that they could use that for a forensic science, like if somebody committed a crime and they owned it a cat or whatever, or a cat was at a crime scene. they can then swab the kitty and get the DNA off of it. I thought that was a pretty interesting thing, too, because it's like, we are all so interconnected, and it's gonna go back into, like the communication thing where it's it's almost like having an all tongue once you realize how interconnected we are not. An all tongue is like a concept in fiction or mythology where you can just talk and listen and everybody will understand you and anybody else can talk and you can listen. I don't know if it's like another thing for hearing. But yeah, you can just talk and everybody will understand you. And you can do that because your words and your energy, your words carry energy and intention. So when you're saying something like, k k kitty. That carries the intention of, "Hey, come get this thing right here. This has interest or whatever. You gotta listen to your tonalities, especially the other night, she was messing around with stuff, and she was knocking stuff down in the middle of the night. And I was like, no, no, Kitty. And I was like, sweet at first. But then she knocked something down and scared herself. And I was like, see, this is why this is why you don't do that. And then she kind of got scared, but she's still, because she got scared, was riled up. So then she went to another thing and started messing stuff around. And I was like half asleep and I like picked her up with my hand, but then I also like nibbled on the back of her neck, like a mama cat. Like, I don't even know where this was coming from, like another one of those instinctual things or one of these communicative things that's just like, you just know. and I nibbled on the back of her neck and I was like thinking, like, yo, quit that shit. Like, stop it. Like, you're gonna get hurt. Like, calm down. Like, I don't care if you're running around right now, just, like, on the floor. I'm gonna put you on the floor if you don't chill out. And I was just like, put her right there. And I put her down, and she stayed right there. Like, she understood it. Started cleaning her paw paws, like started licking her side and laid down and was chill for, like 15, 20 minutes. And I was like, wow, the little mama bite, the little kind of like nibbling on the back of her neck, communicated to her, like, oh, you're doing dangerous things. Don't do that, stop. She like, really understood it and like, sat there and kind of like figured it out for 15 or 20 minutes or so. And then when she got up again, I was like, okay, we're going to put you on the floor now because you still have energy and I put her on the floor and she started running around and stuff. But yeah, it's been a learning curve and a half. Especially like trying to get back into the rhythm of things because I'm like, I really do only have cats on the brain. And I'm like, man, is this the toxoplasmosa taken over my brain? Like, am I being brainwashed by this cat? Is it some kind of alien invader from outer space?, trying to take over my mind? People really do think that shit about cats because they do put off aura and things like that, and energy. And I had to like remember like, oh yeah, I used to have a cat. And oh yeah, my cat used to make me feel like this sometimes. And oh yeah, like, this is how I got over it before without having to do all this other stuff. And it's it's why I's like a crash course, but also certain things like having to learn a new constitution of my like ability to handle smells and things like that, if I really do want to become a parent, is going to have to, you know, take a little bit more training, and I guess that's what this cat is here for. Because, man, she ooh, she's stinky sometimes, dude. She'll take a poop and I'll clean it up almost right away because I can smell it almost right away. And then I'll just have to go sit outside for a few minutes. It's just oof. Stinky winky. Yeah, I really enjoy having this cat. I really enjoy... Something feels complete about it. And I have to accept that completeness Well, at the same time, not shunting off the rest of my responsibilities. And I feel like part of me is like, kind of in. like, the cat is the only thing that matters from now on, which is a little bit silly. I need to come into that realization, and I think maybe doing an episode onCats was, you know, that kind of thing that helped me come into that realization. For sort of like, dude, my sleeping schedule was totally rocked, man. It's cooked. It is messed up, especially with this kitten, dude, I'm sleeping at weird times. Whenever she's asleep, I want to sleep. Like, I'm falling into her schedule. And I need to tell myself, like, dude, stop this is a cat's schedule. Like, you need to fall back into a person's schedule. And then I started like trying to manage it, but it's hard to manage while maintaining the same energy of like, love and stuff like that. Like determination and love at the same time. is kind of a hard balance, especially where I'm somebody that used to always use like a little bit of flavor of anger to get toermination going, you know, Kick start the fire of determination with a little bit of anger. That doesn't You can't do that. I don't want to do that. Something about this cat totally disarms me, like I said. When she peed on me, like, I didn't care. And then when she shit on the floor, I was like, oh, you stink, but like, what am I gonna do get mad? The cat? Like I don't know. It feels like one of those things where, like, dude, of course you can't get mad at the cat. Don't be fucking silly. And it's like forcing me to choose compassion. And that's a good practice, that's a good thing. Compassion and consideration. That's a very good practice to be like hammering in there. But I just kind of don't want to lose my edge at the same time. just going back to like the edge that humans and cats both kind of share. I guess maybe that would have been a better transition into the DNA, like where, you know, maybe I got to accept some of the cats' traits and DNA, and at the same time, cat will accept some of my traits in DNA. And, hey, did you know that scientists did this thing where they swapped a bunch of cats and found out an obvious answer about a swab of DNA from a bunch of cats and their owners? Yeah, that would have been a way better transition, but like I said, something about this cat is throwing off my energy. I think it's like another kind of like one of those wrenches in the works. that I either got to adapt and overcome or just like fold. It's just like, call it. I either overcome this thing or I just call it. And I don't want to call it just because I got a kitty. I have another episode where I think I'm going to talk about the future of what's going on here a little bit more. I think this is probably a good point to call it for this kitty cat one. I thought I had a lot more facts lined up than I did. but like I said, my energy's completely thrown off this whole. Like it feels like, um like before I was like battling my own energy, now it feels like I'm battling another energy. But like the the um vessel that the energy is coming from is like unmatched. There's way more energy coming out of this cat than equates for its size and stuff like that. So I have to take on another energy of like, yeah, all right, this cat can throw throw off these energy waves and stuff, but I can't, like really take it personally. But then I can't like really. How the fuck are you going to take a cat? Like, what a cat does personally. It's like I don't even know, man. You got to be so kind of fucked up to take what a cat does personally as a cat. Like, I know I said a second ago, like, it's a little person in there, but like, you got to realize, too, it's a little purse trapped inside of a cat's body. All they can do is meow, man. Like, they're smart enough to know since being a kitten to to use a litter box. You can at least be amazed and bewildered at that and like be thankful. Like, I don't understand people that don't like cats. Cats are literally, like, so awesome. They take care of their themselves. They're so entertaining, especially when a cat bonds to you. This little honey, every time she gets sleepy, she seeks me out. Stop playing with my headphone. She seeks me out and she comes and and she sleeps next to me. She's my favorite, you know, maybe all I needed was a little bit of love and compassion. And maybe right now it's coming from, like, the strangest of places where it's a little cute kitty. But, it's cool, I love it. It's awesome. It's weird that baby that was like, all. But it can't be all. That can't be it. There's still more. That's the kind of thing that I'm battling with is like, nah, man, a cat couldn't have been the answer to everything. It couldn't have been so simple that all I needed to do was just take care of something that, like, was, you know, smaller than me, that couldn't have been the answer all along, really. I needed to learn how to show unrelenting compassion or something like that. Probably, I don't know. But it's fun having a cat, certainly is a trip, certainly is a ride. Definitely like a challenge in of itself. I'm feeling like, like I said, my own energy kind of like wishy washy, a little water wally. Like I said, dude, my shit's completely thrown off, so I don't have any quotes to What are you going to what kind of quotes are you going to make about a cat? Should I have done something from cats? I don't know. I'm tired. I just wanted to get this one in the books, because maybe if I do want about cats, then cats will no longer be the only thing that I'm thinking about. That a possibility. Who knows? We'll see. Remember? keep it easy out there. You are loved, I love you, I I love this little Cleopatron effortee, the little kitty. Peace. Man, I just laid down to listen to this one over to see if it was good. And she came running around the room and she came and sat right up next to me, and I was like, "Aw, she's cuddling next to me." And then I was like, " oh, wow, she's really unusually warm. And then I was like, oh, shit, she's doing it again. She's fucking pissing on me again. She knew how funny the story was. She knew I wanted her to retell the story. She wanted to relive it again, I guess. So I don't know, man. Be careful what you speak. Careful what you say. Speaking things into reality. You just fucking covered me in pee, so I got to go take a shower. If this is bad this week and there's there's some errors in there, well, then you can just blame Cleopatra Nerti, the little Katie, because I am all covered in piss instead of listening over and editing this podcast. I, like, picked her up carrying her to her litter box. She was running around all terrified. like I was mad at her or some shit. Dude, stop drinking.ing water. I gotta pick up the water. She was right around, like, terrified of me, and I picked her up and gave her a whole bunch of kisses'cause I don't care. I needed to shower anyways. Thanks for letting me know. But I'm gonna take this water away from you.'Cause you are a pissy little baby. You all right, guys. P suit. till like time.
